mouthfeel

Currently based in Seoul, Korea.

My personal blog is hereabouts.

I enjoy e-mails almost as much as I enjoy eating.

매운맛양남치킨: Spicy fried chicken from Pelicana (페리카나), near my high-rise. Fried fresh to order, like every other joint like it in Seoul. A crisp layer gone a touch soggy underneath a wet dousing of garlicky, hot pepper sauce. Hot enough to make your nose run, but not enough to necessitate iced water. I’d say on a scale between 1 and 10, it’s a notch below “Flamin’ Hot Cheeto.” Sprinkled with sesame seeds and (possibly) ex-lax. But that’s your fault. Koreans do fried chicken exceptionally well. Eat at your own risk. Location is here-ish.
